The Full Spectrum Doula Collective of Canada is happy to announce that an Abortion Doula training is in the works! The training is set to take place in Calgary, AB on November 26-27, 2022.

• Physical, Nutritional and Emotional Support
• Self Care for Doulas
• Local Dynamics

How much is the training?

The training is $125 for the weekend intensive, although we operate on a sliding scale. If this amount is not accessible to you, please send us an email.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is interested in supporting people through their pregnancy/abortion choices. There are no prerequisites, you do not have to be a practicing birth doula, but you do need to be available for a brief phone interview prior to registration confirmation.

We are being very intentional about the space we are building for this workshop, and will be offering spots to people who identify with a traditionally marginalized population first. Up until September 15th we will be accepting applications for registration from people who identify with a marginalized population. From September 15th onwards, registration will be open to everyone, with a sustained focus on trying to ensure that who attends the workshop is reflective of the communities that we serve.
